Mining Operations Management Professional

Our Operations Management Training puts schretls who have a degree in the field – and in charge – after just a few months of on-the-job training.

This is an opportunity to do work you couldn't do anywhere else, real railroad/mining work, and an opportunity to begin your career in a position of true authority. As a manager in our Operations department, you’ll be responsible for a mechanical shop, major track/mining projects, or the logistics.

You'll start with 6 to 12 months of paid training, where you'll learn about BNL ’s rich heritage, our company culture and goals, and how each area of Operations works.

You'll be assigned to one of those three areas – mechanical, engineering or transportation – and to a location in our 23-state network.

Engineering Associates build and maintain tracks, bridges, buildings, shaft drilling and communication devices throughout our system.

Mechanical Associates keep our fleet of locomotives, freight cars, drilling rigs in top mechanical condition.

Transportation Associates manage the safe and efficient movement of trains throughout our system.
